Project Summary
Mary Lynam visited Dr Mubarak for the first time in November 2021. She had chronic back pain with fail back surgery syndrome and chronic pelvic pain. Mary was initially very hesitant to come to my clinic as she has been under the orthopaedic clinic for 11 years with no improvement. Also, she visited tow pain specialists but there was no relief unfortunately.
Mary has lost hope to live her life as a normal person. She told me at that time that had given up hope of any meaningful change to the relentless pain before meeting me in the clinic. Mary was really frustrated and her words meant a lot to me. Mary wrote these kind words about my care ‘ I am part way through her innovative treatment plan’.
Treatment Journey
started in November 2021 and there was tow pathways, one for fail back surgery syndrome and one for the pelvic pain. Once I completed the set of diagnostic injections for back and pelvic pain, Mary has already felt significant improvement in pain levels all over the body. We started together the second stage of the treatment plan which is PRP stage. Now in October 2021, Mary has finished all treatments. It is exactly around one year from the first time we met. Here is the testimony of Mary today when she hugged me to say thank you
‘ I can walk now in the mornings when I get up and last week I did exercise class, my first one in 16 years. I honestly can’t believe how my quality of life has changed. Dr Mubarak is kind and empathetic. She really listens to your complaints and the treatment protocols she offers have never been offered to me before. I would urge anyone with chronic pain to seek an opinion from her, I can’t recommend her highly enough.’ End of Mary’s testimony.
I am thrilled that I was participating in Mary’s happiness. She now can play with her children and enjoy all the future life.
