| After five years of being told- despite my protestations – that pain on the outside of my left hip was related to troubles in my lumbar spine, it was good indeed to meet someone who (a) agreed the hip was the source of the pain, and (b) could do something about it! With reservations that I don’t now really understand, Dr Mubarek agreed to undertake a psoas compartment block. Relief at last! Very many thanks for your superb expertise with excellent support from your nurses. Fingers crossed that the relief lasts a long time but, when/if pain recurs, I know exactly to whom I can turn!
